So the tour is on!
Starting this morning at 11 in San Francisco, my friend Nick and I set out to bike the length of the San Francisco Bay peninsula down to Milpitas.
Cycling south through the city, by AT&T Park and out of the city, we stopped just after crossing the city line at 7-Mile House, the last Mile House in California.
After a tasty lunch, we hit the road to cross over San Bruno mountain into the beautiful blue skies and mid-20s temperature.
Heading the next 30km down to Palo Alto, we stopped off again for a refuel on frozen yogurt.
After the pit stop, we headed out to the Bay trail to ride along the water around the Google campus, NASA’s Moffet Field and right up to Levi’s Stadium.
By the end of the day, we’d travelled 89km. Wrapping up the day with some well-earned poker, pizza and beer felt great!
Now to get ready to do it all again tomorrow on my way to head to Hollister!
